A viral footage shows the Australian man shoving aside media personnel and lunging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade flanked by onlookers. Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by guards. Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused. Pattern of Disruptions This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed features clips of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year. "Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior. "Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user questioned. Fans Show Disapproval Over the Star's Safety Several supporters blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many. "After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented one more comment on Instagram. A number of fans also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads. Aftermath and Premiere Information In clips spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards. Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted. Many of Singapore fans had waited to greet the cast of Wicked Many of fans had assembled in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had waited for as long as many hours before it started.
